Why iPad 2 Is Coming and What to Expect

http://gigaom.com/apple/why-ipad-2-is-coming-and-what-to-expect/

This Christmas was planning on saving up all of my Christmas money and buying myself an iPad. Then I’ve heard rumors of an iPad 2. And now this article is defiantly convincing me to wait until next year to buy it. First there will be multiple sizes. The 7 inch and the now 9 inch screen. And of course they are planning to bump of the screen resolution.  And what I love most is the face time. I knew it was coming. Face time on the iPad will allow us to Skype or video chat using the IPad.  Also there might also be a change in size of the iPad itself. The iPad has been rumored to come out smaller and thinner.  I am now defiantly saving my money and waiting for the IPad 2 to come out in April. Witch I quite a long time it seems this Christmas present will be more of an early birthday present.  However there are some rumors that it will be coming out in February.  But it seems that the early 2011 release will be the iPad 2 with face time and the April resale date will be the iPad 2 with a 7 inch display.

Microsoft "Surface" - The Possibilities

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VfpVYYQzHs

I came across this video on YouTube and have yet to forget about it. This video to me feels like it’s a glimpse into the future and what the world will look like soon. This is defiantly some jaw dropping technology. The Microsoft surface is like nothing I’ve ever seen before and like nothing I’ve ever imagined could be.

How BlackBerry Could Benefit From a Swedish Redesign

http://gizmodo.com/5704596/how-blackberry-could-benefit-from-a-swedish-redesign

“TAT's vision of the "Future of Screen Technology" includes some pretty eye-popping examples of touch screens embedded into every aspect of daily life. A man wakes up and checks the news on a stretchable screen that starts out iPhone-sized, but which he pulls on to make it nearly iPad-sized. A woman brushes her teeth while reading headlines and checking her calendar on a touch screen mirror. A man composes a sport publication on a translucent touch screen display whose images he can flip around, so coworkers on the other side of the screen can see them. Cool stuff!”. This new technology could have A touch- and motion-sensitive UI that responds to your body's movement as well as your fingers on the screen,  Eye-tracking technology to provide enhanced 3-D effects,  A slicker, easier-to-manage interface for switching between multiple apps and  Eye-popping 2-D and 3-D visuals. If this is what a new phone will have that is completely unbelievable. 3-D visuals on a phone would defiantly be something to get used to.

Complex $1.2 Million Manufacture Royale Accordion Watch Plays a Simple Tune

http://gizmodo.com/5700567/complex-12-million-manufacture-royale-accordion-watch-plays-a-simple-tune

I’m not sure why I choose this article but it was very intriguing. And 1.2 million dollar accordion watch. Before even reading this article I was quite curious what kind of person would purchase a 1.2 million dollar watch. Then I thought who would buy a 1.2 million dollar watch that’s also an accordion. However my curiously defiantly made me want to investigate this article further. Manufacture Royale's Opera $1.2 million watch doesn't just open up for show, there's some functionality built into that unfolding, accordion-like action too. “Minute hand repeater plays C#, hour hand plays in A.” The watch will be limited to a run of only 12 timepieces, each comprised of 319 gears, springs and other bits of 18k rose and gray gold. The band is made of alligator skin.  I’m just in awe of the actual mechanics that are in this watch.  At a time some people televisions weren’t this extravagant and to think that this is only a watch. Technology these days is defiantly revolutionizing the world in ways I would have never imagined.

Griffin's iPod Nano Slap Bracelet Has the Early '90s Totally Confused

http://gizmodo.com/5691313/griffins-ipod-nano-slap-bracelet-has-the-early-90s-really-confused

The bright colors of the watches defiantly caught me eye.  Griffin's combined cutting edge silly—a silver dollar sized MP3 player with a comically small touch screen—with retro silly—an accessory you put on by whacking yourself with it—to come up with the retro-future silly: a slap bracelet watchband for the new iPod Nano. They call it Slap. They're available in Red, Purple, Blue, Green, Black, Orange, Yellow, and Pink and run $25. I personally love this. However  first things that comes to mind is that children will use this in school and use it to cheat on tests in some way. But that could just be me. But I love this idea. Now if there was a compartment in the back of this watch for your headphone and then this has it all. I am completely amazed but this invention. It just so cute and small.  I LOVE IT. I wish I had a Nano just so I could get this!

All We Want From a New iTunes

http://gizmodo.com/5690369/all-we-want-from-itunes-tomorrow

There going to be a new iTunes coming out. And this article I listing all of its new capability or new wants for iTunes to have. Streaming music. This would allow you to stream you iTunes library anywhere. However this seems to be a very likely update to iTunes. Next there been spoken of a wireless sync witch to me seems to be a great idea. Having to connect your iPod to a computer anytime you want to sync your music is quite a hassle. There’s also have been rumors of an iTunes subscriptions where one could pay a monthly fee to purchase amounts of music. However this seems quite unlikely but not impossible. Also a new feature is going to be 90 second song preview instead of the 30 sec previews now. This will defiantly be a plus because I have bought some songs without really knowing what the song was until after I have purchased it. And another new thing is there new logo!! How exciting!!

Is LG's Latest Gadget a Camera Or a Phone?

http://gizmodo.com/5684124/is-lgs-latest-gadget-a-camera-or-a-phone
This Lg camera is actually phone. This phone is quite different from phones that have good cameras this is a camera that is also a phone. It might not be as pretty as my at&t blackberry bold but this look just like my camera. Perhaps this is one way to size down the amount of gages you own. Now if this phone camera could hold music it would have it all. This phone does have blue tooth and Wi-Fi and 36 connections. The camera phone is destined for Japan where it'll be sold by the DoCoMo carrier in January.

This Is the Oldest Space Object Ever Found

http://gizmodo.com/5669927/this-is-the-oldest-space-object-ever-found

The oldest object found so far in space is a small galaxy. This galaxy is 600 million years younger than the whole universe. When previously looking for the oldest galaxy they had found something but this galaxy is 160 million years older that the previous oldest galaxy.  It’s speculated that this galaxy formed almost 200 years after the big bang. This means that now there a lot more discovering still to be done. This is an amazing discovery. Perhaps the more galaxies we identify the more our knowledge about pace will grow. And we will have more answers to trivial questions.  Also this discovery can lead to more discovers and perhaps some revolutionary discoveries that could change our lives as we know it.

UFOs (Or Balloons) Attack Manhattan!

http://gizmodo.com/5663706/ufos-or-balloons-attack-manhattan

This story has been quite big in the news. “it's been a while since New York had a good UFO panic. Today, New Yorkers were frozen in their tracks by what must have been a swarm of aliens searching for the most expensive cigarettes in the Universe. (Or balloons.)” However I have watched this video and it seem to me that I could easily be UFOs. I mean how could balloons be that high in the air and that visible. And how large are these balloons to be seen at this distance. However it could be balloons for all I know. But I would like to believe that’s its UFOs. I hope the government isn’t trying to cover this up and say its balloons unless they really were balloons. Perhaps there will be further investigation of the unidentified flying objects. However for now I rule this to be a UFO!!!!!

Young Boy Becomes First Human to Live With a Permanent "Robot Heart"

http://gizmodo.com/5654769/young-boy-becomes-first-human-to-live-with-a-permanent-robot-heart

The headline to this story had defiantly caught my eye. To see that a young boy is the first to have what they call “a robot heart”. Until now all other heart transplants were only temporary however this heart should help him live 20-25 years. This 15 year old boy from Italy has Duchenne syndrome which was wasting his muscles away. It was this syndrome which meant he couldn't receive a heart transplant. This forced doctors to look beyond the normal means to extend a young 15 year old boys life with technology. If you compare the unnamed boy's 90g heart with the first-ever artificial heart from 1969, you can see just how far the medical world has progressed in those 41 years. Who would have ever thought that someday a vital organ could be replaced with a robot organ to help save humans lives. This is an extraordinary story of how technology saves lives. And how technology isn’t only about our blackberry and iPhones and iPads but also technology has opened so many doors to help save people’s lives.

The Commercial Radio Revolution Switched On 90 Years Ago Today

http://gizmodo.com/5650419/90-years-ago-today-radio-took-its-first-steps

To think that the radio was created 90 years ago today is crazy to think about. The world of technology has defiantly advanced so much since then. But 90 years ago today, with a simple print advertisement, the bland department store sparked what would within weeks become one of the largest revolutions in communications and the arts of all time—commercial radio. However before 1920 radio was believe to be a practical for military but had no place in the home. Radio was considered “hobby” or more of a way to talk. Frank Conrad engineer at Westinghouse would not let his technology go to water he last created his own radio transmitter.  growing tired of beeping of Morse code, flipped things over to his gramophone, letting people miles away listen to music he chose. He was DJing, almost a century ago. Within three years, over 500 other stations were operating around the country, and half a million radios had been moved off shelves. Ninety years later, you can't escape a passing car blasting Katy Perry on its radio or hearing the same drake song over and over. Radio was the begging of technology today.

Cross-eyed Timekeeping Arrives with Latest Tokyoflash Watch Concept

http://gizmodo.com/5648193/cross+eyed-timekeeping-arrives-with-latest-tokyoflash-concept

The image of this device caught my eye first. My curiosity made me investigate it further it turn out this device is a watch. It took me a while to see the time, even with a hint, but it's certainly there and once you see it you can't un-see that which you have seen.  Now, if a person still cannot tell time with this watch, a button on the side turns off the illusion and displays only the numbers. Very confusing to tell time one but it quite and interesting concept.  Someone out there will defiantly buy this.

This Aurora Photo Is the Most Insane I've Ever Seen

http://gizmodo.com/5642766/this-aurora-photo-is-the-most-insane-ive-ever-seen

While searching for media news I came across this jaw dropping photo.  Auroras emit light because of the emission of photons by oxygen and nitrogen atoms in the upper atmosphere. Those atoms get excited—or ionized—by the collision with solar wind particles, which are accelerated by the Earth's magnetic field. As the atoms get excited or return to their normal state, they emit visible energy. When it is an oxygen atom, the light emitted is either green or brownish-red, depending on the energy level absorbed by the molecule. Blue happens when nitrogen gets ionized and red when it returns to ground state. I came across this picture and was in awe I thought it was so beautiful and it was taken over Norway.

iOS 4.2 on iPad: There's No Going Back

http://gizmodo.com/5639074/ios-42-on-ipad-its-impossible-to-go-back

This article discusses the iPad. Something I show much interest in because I myself want an iPad. However now that I don’t have one at this time I do find interest in looking at iPad information. This article is talking about the new addition to the iPad and how it affects it. It explains the multitasking mail and folder first. And talks about how much better this software makes the IPad that it better with switching from one app to the next.  Also now u can collect the apps into different folder instead of having pages of apps you can organize them into one folder. Personally I love organization so this is defiantly a plus. This article also discusses the new wireless printing setting and its game center. The air printing seemed to be a good concept but as of now it has some bugs and problems.  However we all know that in time it will be solved.

BETS IPHONE APPS FOR GETTING THINGS DONE

http://lifehacker.com/5639422/the-best-iphone-apps-for-productivity

This article discusses what best IPhone apps for getting things done is. “Whether you're in the office or on the go, the iPhone has become a pocket able workhorse for getting things done. Here are our picks for the best iPhone apps to keep you working productively”. First they speak of an app called remember milk. This app is not just a to do list but also can sync with your devices, email and sms as well as on the web to remind you of what has to be done. Personally I might think of purchasing this for my itouch. However this great app comes with a catch.  Though the app itself is free to access its pro features you must pay a fee of $25 dollars a month. The next app is simple note. Its an easy fast way to take notes. I believe this would work best for a person with and I pad using it as a note book. And a plus is that simple note is free. And then they talk about the dragon dictation. This fills the void where voice recognition on the iPhone was lacking. Not u can speak and have almost a personally secretary write it down for you.
